Statement by Goup of Supporters of Iran Anti-Imperialist Left Alliance —

The spilled new blood on the oppressed soil of Yemen. Sanaa, the capital of the resistance, witnessed a crime that hurt the heart of humanity, and the Zionist regime carried out a terrorist and cowardly attack that martyred the prime minister and a number of cabinet ministers and government employees. This tragedy is not only an incident within Yemen’s borders, but also a wound on the conscience of humanity.
The martyrs of this tragedy were pious and selfless human beings, the best free and resilient children of Yemen who gave all their hopes and aspirations for the promotion of human rights and dignity. They served their people with their pen and thought in the workshop of life, but they were bloodied by the missiles of Zionism. Their blood is now the flag of the Resistance, and their name will remain in the memory of eternal history.
The crimes of the Zionist regime are not limited to Palestine. This regime, which has turned Gaza into a slaughterhouse for children, bombing schools and dismembering the most innocent human beings, is targeting defenseless ministers and civilians in Yemen today. Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran have also been grieving the regime’s terrorist crimes for years. All this is not sporadic events, but a chain of genocide and aggression that continues at the hands of Zionism and with the direct support of US imperialism and Western governments.
How can we see Palestinian children being filled in the arms of their mothers, Yemeni ministers being bloodied in their offices, cities in the region being burned to the ground, and silence? Isn’t silence in the face of these crimes complicity with criminals? Those who call themselves defenders of human rights, by arming and supporting this criminal regime, are partners and are directly responsible for all these atrocities. Without this support, Zionism would not have been able to dismember children so freely and murder the political leaders of an independent country in the heart of the capital.
While expressing our sympathy with the families of the martyrs of Yemen and the heroic and oppressed people of Palestine, we reaffirm the right of the people of the region to resist occupation and aggression. The statement reminds us that confronting oppression and aggression is the human and political duty of all freedom-loving people in the world, and that solidarity with the oppressed people is one of our fundamental principles in the fight against state imperialism and racism.
We, the anti-imperialist leftist forces, condemn this terrorist and inhumane crime with all our hearts and declare our deep solidarity with the heroic people of Yemen and the oppressed people of Palestine. Our voice is an echo of the cry of all awakened consciences who say: This child-killing regime is not only the enemy of a nation, but also the enemy of humanity.
Today, if Western governments have plunged into an embarrassing silence with their double standards, the people of the world have not remained silent; in the streets, in the squares, and in their hearts, the voice of resistance and protest is loud. Silence in the face of these horrific crimes is treason and means complicity in violence and oppression; resistance and solidarity are the only way to protect humanity.
